As an unarmed patrol officer at a major food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting access control needs. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities. * Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas of the food and beverage production location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior. * Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts as required. * Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns specific to the food and beverage environment. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. * A guard card or license is preferred. * Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. * Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
