Responsibilities:

 As a Security Guard Patrol in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Guided by our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first and act with integrity every day.

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
* Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support restricted area control and visitor management.
* Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and policy-related concerns, and relay important information during shift changes and/or to Allied Universal leadership.

 Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Must provide proof of US Citizenship
* Access control and badge experience is preferred.
* Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
