Responsibilities: As a Security Guard - Mobile Patrol Driver in Uvalde, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will drive between designated areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while delivering customer service. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts as required. * Conduct regular and random patrols of the location, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site. * Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, maintaining visitor logs, and directing deliveries to approved areas. * Complete detailed activity and incident reports, note hazards and/or maintenance concerns observed during rounds, and communicate relevant updates to oncoming personnel. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
