Security Guard - Marine Patrol Site Position: Security Guard - Level 3Type: Temporary (Full-Time & Part-Time)Location: Toronto, ONPay Rate: $24.00/hourShifts: Evening Shifts (Full-Time & Part-Time Availability Required) Overview:We are currently seeking experienced and professional Level 3 Security Guards for a temporary assignment at a high-profile marine site in Toronto. This role requires confident individuals who can effectively manage challenging situations while maintaining a strong customer service presence. Key Responsibilities: * Access Control: Conduct regular patrols of the marina and surrounding waterfront areas * Patrols: Monitor and enforce site rules and regulations for all docked boaters * De-escalation: Handle and de-escalate aggressive or non-compliant individuals. * Professional Communication: Engage with the public in a professional and respectful manner * Safety: Ensure safety and security of all vessels, property, and personnel * Incident Reporting: Maintain accurate incident reports and daily activity logs * Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies and security concerns Requirements: * Experience in critical environments where decision making, and actions can impact life-safety and business continuity. * Valid Ontario Security Guard License * Minimum Level 3(Tactical) security experience required * Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills * Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Physically fit and able to conduct foot patrols for extended periods * Availability for evening shifts (including weekends if required) What We're Looking For: * Confident and professional individuals * Strong presence with the ability to manage high-risk interactions * Customer-focused mindset with enforcement capability * Reliable and punctual team players Benefits: * Opportunities for career growth and advancement * Comprehensive health and dental benefits * Paid training and development programs Disclaimer: As part of the hiring process, candidates must complete a background check.
