Title: Security Guard Location: Cornwall Ontario Pay rate: $16.55-$18.36/HRS Job Type: Part-Time Shift Hours: Various shift time Shift Type: Various shift Job Summary: Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security Guards for our security operations in Cornwall, ON. The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, and able to work within a dynamic security team. If you have experience as a Security Guard, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities: * Maintain a safe and secure environment * Access control of entryways and exit points using equipment at your disposal * Facility patrol and enforcement of site regulations. * Monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activities. * Enforce property regulations and city bi-laws on the client's site * Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence * Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues * Complete daily reports and incident reports * Provide excellent customer service * Good adaptability Requirement: * Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required) * Must be 25 years of age for insurance purposes. * High school diploma or GED equivalent * Proficiency in English is required * G Driver's license. * Valid first aid certification * 1 year or more of security related experience * First aid and CPR certification required * Excellent customer service and resourcefulness * Good communication skills (written/oral) Benefits: * Opportunities for career growth and advancement. * Paid training and development programs.
