Title: Security Guard Location: Cornwall, Ontario Job Type: Full-Time Shift Hours: VARIEOUS SHIFT HOURS (16:00PM-00:00 / 00:00-08:00AM, 08:00AM -20:00PM/20:00PM -08:00 AM) Shift Type: Monday to Friday Job Summary: As a Security personnel you will be responsible for access control, facility patrol, reception, and enforcement of site regulations. Requirement: * Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required) * Must be 25 years of age for insurance purposes. * High school diploma or GED equivalent * Proficiency in English is required * G Driver's license. * Valid first aid certification * 1 year or more of security related experience * First aid and CPR certification required * Excellent customer service and resourcefulness * Good communication skills (written/oral) Responsibilities: * Maintain a safe and secure environment * Access control of entryways and exit points using equipment at your disposal * Facility patrol and enforcement of site regulations. * Monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activities. * Enforce property regulations and city bi-laws on the client's site * Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence * Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues * Complete daily reports and incident reports * Provide excellent customer service * Good adaptability Benefits: * Opportunities for career growth and advancement. * Paid training and development programs.
