Responsibilities: Position: Security Guard - Data Centre (Mississauga) Type: Full- Time Shift: Continental - Swing shift / Rotation Schedule: 0700 - 19:00 Continental Rate: $18.56 per hour Must have resided in Canada for the last 10 years - (Since May 2015) to pass the required clearances to work on site. Overview: Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security guards for a site in Mississauga. As a security guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enforcing security protocols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to emergencies with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities: * CCTV and Live monitoring experience preferred * Communicate with stakeholders, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner. * Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently. * Coordinating with other team leads to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage. * Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards. Requirement: * Must have a valid Ontario Security License. * Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week. * First Aid and CPR. * Must be at least 18 years old. * High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience. * Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites. * Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
