Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional in Mississauga, Ontario.  

Job Title: Security Professional

Location: Mississauga, ON

Type: Full Time - Temporary

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Shifts: 0700 - 1900 Continental and 1900 - 0700 Continental

Overview :

We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Security Guard to join our team at a warehouse and construction site. This position involves providing security and monitoring services 24/7 with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

* Site Surveillance & Patrol: Perform regular patrols of the warehouse, surrounding areas, and construction site to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.
* Visibility & Coverage: Maintain high visibility in the marked AUS vehicle, which is stationed on-site as a shelter for the guard and provides security coverage near the construction zone.
* Access Control: Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.
* Communication: Maintain clear and constant communication via a radio with the site control guard and other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.
* Emergency Response: Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.
* Incident Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.
* Site & Asset Protection: Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to warehouse materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.
* Compliance with Safety Procedures: Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
* General Security Duties: Ensure the overall safety and security of the warehouse and construction areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.

REQUIREMENTS :

* 1-2 years of experience working in mobile security
* Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
* Must be at least 18 years old or above for insurance purposes
* High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
* Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
* First Aid and CPR
