Responsibilities:

Allied Universal is seeking Security Professionals in Edmonton, Alberta. 

 Job Title: Security Professional

Job Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Job Type: Part-Time

Shift Days :  Saturday -Sunday 

Shift Time : Overnight 1800-0600

Pay Rate: $18.20 per hour

Overview:
We are looking for diligent and reliable security guards to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring a safe environment.

Requirement:

* Valid Alberta security guard license.
* Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
* Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
* Experience with report writing and note-taking.
* Valid Class 5  Driver's License and own vehicle as the site is not on the public transport route.
* Must be eligible to work in Canada. 
* First Aid and CPR
* Must be at least 18 years old.
* High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
* Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct foot patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
* Monitor and report suspicious activities and persons.
* Prevent and detect thefts or vandalism.
* Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily logs.
* Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
* Resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
* Use radios and cell phones to communicate with team members.
* Follow emergency procedures and respond to alarms.
* Ensure safety and security protocols are upheld.
