Responsibilities:

 As a Security Guard - Government Facility Unarmed Patrols in NEW YORK, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment.  Pay Rate: $21.20 / Hour

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual conditions.
* Observe for and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
* Communicate and collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and/or local authorities as required for incident response and reporting.
* Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
* Complete required documentation and logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
* Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
* Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
