Responsibilities:

 As a Security Guard - Government Building Patrol in Pearl City, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment.  Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
* Document and report any irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
* Communicate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required for incident escalation and resolution.
* Assist visitors and personnel at the location by providing information and guidance as needed.
* Remain alert and observant to changing conditions in the environment, adapting patrol routes and activities as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

* A guard card or license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
