POSITION: Security Guard - General Motors CAMI LOCATION: Ingersoll, ON PAY: $ 22.46 per hour SHIFT: Full Time - Rotating Days, Afternoons, Nights, Weekdays; Some weekends may be required REQUIREMENTS: * Be able to read, write and speak in English and possess reading, writing and comprehension skills sufficient to compose clearly and concise written reports and read and understand rules, regulations, policies and similar instructions * Minimum G2 License required, G License an asset * Clean Driver's Abstract required * Must be eligible to work in Canada up-to 40 hours per week * Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License and a First Aid/CPR certification (or CAMI equivalent). * Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring * Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems * High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: * Reports directly to the Security Shift Supervisor * Patrols interior and exterior of entire facility * Main dispatch for internal and external emergency services * Secure international freight using high security seal process * Access control for all people attending the site, including visitors * Implement the plant emergency response plan, as required * Incident Reporting and maintenance of activity log * Assist with Confined Space entry process * Issue Parking Violations as required * Perform other duties as required by the site Benefits: * Opportunities for career growth and advancement. * Comprehensive health and dental benefits * Paid training and development programs.
