Responsibilities: Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Calgary, Alberta Title: Security Guard Location: Calgary, Alberta Payrate: $ 20.50 - $21.20 Schedule: Full Time: 1400 - 2200, Open availability preferred Overview: Allied Universal is seeking Security Guards to oversee security operations at our Calgary, Alberta site. The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, open availability, and able to manage the job requirements. If you have experience as a security guard, enjoy patrolling, is swift in computers and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you. Requirement: * Six months of experience in a guard role in security. * Open shift availabilit preffered * Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites. * Must have valid Alberta Security License * Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week. * First Aid and CPR * Must be at least 18 years old. * High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience * Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms. Responsibilities: * Efficient with computers, ensuring effective patrolling and site security. * Responds to Emergency Situations such as fires, Chemical Spills, Medical Emergencies, Phone Threats, answers alarms and investigate disturbances. * Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises. * Completes monthly, weekly, and daily tasks assigned. * Communicate with stakeholders, including site management, in a professional manner. * Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently. * Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
