As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors, respond to questions and concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government human services location. * Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using verbal de-escalation and timely notification to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed. * Monitor entry points, observe visitor and employee activity for unusual behavior, and help maintain orderly access in accordance with site rules and posted instructions. * Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, document patrol findings, and communicate relevant information to oncoming personnel and/or site representatives. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
