Responsibilities:

 As a Security Guard - Driving Role Patrol in Manhattan Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support guests and tenants with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients, tenants, retailers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and mall location.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, exterior walkways, service corridors, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical situations, alarms, and requests for assistance, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
* Monitor access points, loading and receiving areas, and restricted spaces, helping to verify authorized entry, manage visitor direction, and support crowd and foot-traffic flow during peak hours and special events.
* Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, and report hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
