As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and/or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site personnel, and respond to concerns with calm, customer-focused service. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical processing location. * Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, control points, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards to operations. * Control access through gates and designated entry points by verifying credentials, managing visitor logs, and directing traffic and/or deliveries in accordance with site requirements. * Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or local responders as directed. * Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to supervision, and monitor cameras, intrusion alarms, and/or radios to maintain situational awareness. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
