Responsibilities: As a Security Elite Patrol - Armed in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more . As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of Allied Universal. Position Type: Full Time (Day Shift) Location: Near Pleasanton Rd Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 03:15 PMFri07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:45 PMSun05:30 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do: * Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites * Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education * Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams * Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service * Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: * Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address issues as they arise. * Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment. * Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors. * Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols. * Collaborate with store management and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies. * Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and customers. What We're Looking For: * Availability across various days and shifts * Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments * A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company * Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: * Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military experience, or 5+ years Armed Security experience or possess a college degree. * Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations. * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Must have a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements if the position involves driving. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
