Responsibilities:
As our Security Dispatcher, you will help in maintaining the safety and security of the hospital premises and its occupants. You will be responsible for dispatching Security, Facilities and Environmental Service requests as designated and providing project coordination as required.
Every day you will be responsible for managing communications, data, and dispatches for various hospital services, ensuring smooth operations and high quality customer service.
To be successful in this role, you must perform daily tasks effectively and contribute significantly to the smooth and safe operation of the hospital.
* Assess complex situations, consults with appropriate parties and makes decisions in a timely manner
* Purchasing supplies as needed by department
* Answer telephones for Transportation, Guest Services, Facilities and EVS as required. All calls are answered in a timely, professional manner. Maintain the highest level of customer service skills at all times. Limits wait and hold times of callers
* Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and files to track and maintain information
* Dispatch call to appropriate personnel. Log in all incoming calls; log all transporting of patients by assignment as assigned by transport; log name of person assigned to service call. Maintains service request log
Qualifications:
Required
* High School Diploma or GED
* One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience
