Responsibilities include:
* Receive emergency and nonemergency phone or radio calls
* Dispatch security officers to emergency and nonemergency calls around the property utilizing the computer and radio systems
* Responsible for the timely and accuracy of the daily key reports by shift
* Monitor the safety of guests, team members, and security officers
* Monitors the fire alarm system for the property
* Adheres to departmental and company policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
* Maintains strict confidentiality and professionalism in all company matters.
* Provides superior guest experience through consistent, positive interaction.
* Knowledgeable of applicable state laws, gaming regulations and security standard operating procedures.
* Ability to navigate other computer applications that are applicable
* Ability to maintain a level of composure during stressful situations and advance knowledge of the properties emergency preparedness plan
Qualifications:
* Written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Experience in a dispatch environment preferred
* Ability to affectively record information while receiving communications through phone or radio
* Active listener
* Sound judgment and critical thinking are a must.
* Advanced knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergency situations
* Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive approach to dealing with critical situations.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
* Able to work shift in team environment.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Previous experience in a guest service-related field required.
