Responsibilities:
The Security Solution Architect will work in a team environment, providing technology consulting to our customers. This role involves offering technical counselling and support as part of the creation and delivery of technology solutions tailored to meet customers' business needs, thereby gaining a deep understanding of their businesses.
The Security Solution Architect will establish and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure satisfaction. This highly motivated individual will stay abreast of innovative technologies and possess extensive industry and market domain knowledge.
Additionally, the Security Solution Architect will support account teams on complex projects and programs, delivering both business and technical solutions throughout the pre-sales process. This includes planning, design, implementation, and support to ensure that IT solutions align with the overall business strategy and architecture.
The role:
* Technology and business enablement advocate to advise on standard methodologies for applying IT to drive competitive advantage.
* Provide guidance to customers, driving solution architecture, and ensuring solution strategy is effectively aligned with business strategy.
* Understand and implement a solution roadmap and select the right infrastructure and technology platform or product based on in-depth knowledge of one and broad knowledge of other technologies and/or alliance product landscape.
* Chip in to the pre-sales activities of the business development team and deliver accurate and risk aware input into the estimating and planning processes
* Production of high-quality user documentation (high / low Level Design Documents)
* Encourage and facilitate the exchange of ideas within a community (e.g. team, practice, or project).
* Foster a culture of collaboration and encourage team members to share and reuse information across projects.
Qualifications:
* Proven track record in a Systems Integrator or within a large organisation (>2000 users) implementing sophisticated IT solutions in hybrid environments
* 5+ years of customer interaction in a consultant, technical delivery or technical leadership role.
* Project experience on security, AI, and data is an added advantage
* Advanced knowledge in one and good knowledge in at least two in the following technology areas
* Cloud security solutions (Public, Private, Hybrid)
* Sophisticated knowledge of M365 Security & Compliance features and functions
* Information protection, international compliance requirements
* Identity management and advanced identity protection
* Baseline security of an hybrid M365 environment
* Desirable skills to have experience around the following:
* Enterprise Mobility & Security (EM+S)
* Microsoft Sentinel or another 3rd party SIEM / SOAR solution
* Double Key encryption / HSM / HYOK
* Multi-tenant security management
* Ability to support solution implementation or application design deliverables.
* Ability to learn quickly and keep pace with the rapid changes in the IT industry particularly in cloud and mobility.
* Ability to understand and work with detailed project plans and work breakdown structures.
* Ability to understand Architecture Specification deliverables that map customer business requirements to solution / technologies.
* Solid problem-solving skills are desirable.
* Good verbal and written communication skills as well as strong business insight.
* Good presentation skills as you will be required to interact with customers and local specialists.
