Overview: Sarnova is the leading national specialty distributor of health care products in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Respiratory Markets and is the industry leader in Revenue Cycle Management within Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The company operates through several market-leading companies including Tri-anim Health Services, the largest specialty distributor of respiratory products, Bound Tree Medical, the largest supplier of EMS products, and Cardio Partners, a full Sudden Cardiac Arrest Solution provider, and Digitech, the leader in EMS revenue cycle management. Responsibilities: Summary: Security analysts are responsible for protecting a company's data and networks from cybersecurity threats. They monitor systems, coordinate with third-party security vendors, identify security gaps, and install patches and updates as necessary. They also create and implement security plans our Cyber Security Strategy and report on any security breaches. Organizational Impact: The Security Analyst protects the business from security threats, preventing business impacting events that could damage the organization's reputation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Monitoring: Monitor communications from our third-party security vendors and industry leaders on threats, keep updated on threat intelligence feeds * Reporting: Report on security incidents as requested by leadership * Creating: Create and implement security plans and recommendation to keep our network and data safe * Installing: Install and update software necessary to protect sensitive information * Analyzing: Analyze security incidents to identify the root cause * Writing: Write reports on the efficacy of security policies, incident responses, and disaster recovery plans * Reviewing: Review and communicate violations of security procedures * Restricting: Monitor and restrict access to sensitive data * Providing: Execute phishing tests and provide training to associates to ensure violations do not recur * Conducting security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis * Perform both internal and external security audits, including PCI DSS * Creating procedural guidelines for employees to help protect company data and networks * Maintaining a working knowledge of new threats to cybersecurity * Additional job duties as assigned Skills/Experience Required: * Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred * 1- 3 years of IT operations experience in a troubleshooting or support role * Ability to read security alerts and design strategies to address threats * Completed CISSP training or equivalent, certification preferred * General understanding of data networks and networking protocols * Ability to generate security reports and present data to senior leadership Sarnova is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
