Overview:
The Security Advisor maintains a safe and secure environment for employees by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for monitoring and guaranteeing a sound, ethical environment, and the ability to identify, investigate or resolve security breaches.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain Zebra security and asset protection programs and socially promote these programs as part of the overall business culture
* Proactively oversee programs that relate to the organization's duty of care towards its employees locally, regionally and while traveling
* Conduct on-site risk analysis and security assessments to identify and evaluate potential security risks to Zebra
* Conduct internal investigations into asset loss, thefts, acts of criminal misconduct, and violations of policy; and act as a point of contact with local and national law enforcement agencies in matters of security and asset protection
* Oversee regional contract guard security personnel
* Provide in-depth analysis of the global security environment everywhere Zebra does business
* Risk assessment and mitigation - ability to identify, evaluate, and minimize security risks.
* Threat analysis - strong analytical skills to assess potential security threats.
* Crisis management - experience handling emergency situations calmly and effectively.
* Incident response planning - developing and implementing response plans for security incidents.
* Knowledge of security systems and technologies - familiarity with surveillance, access control, and cybersecurity tools.
* Regulatory compliance - understanding of local and international security standards and regulations.
* Communication and stakeholder management - ability to communicate clearly with leadership, employees, and external agencies.
* Investigation skills - conducting and documenting internal security investigations.
* Strategic thinking - developing long-term security strategies aligned with business goals.
* Collaboration - working effectively with cross-functional teams such as HR, Legal, and Facilities.

Qualifications:
* Typically requires a Bachelor's degree
* 8-12 years of security experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Crisis Management/Ability to respond to potential security threats appropriate
* Must have the ability to effectively and efficiently work and communicate with all team members
* Must have the appropriate character and discretion to maintain confidentiality in all areas of the business, both personal and professional
Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong risk assessment and threat analysis capabilities.
* Familiarity with corporate security protocols
* Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
* They should also be good at incident response planning.
* Strong communication skills to advise stakeholders.
* Be comfortable with security technologies and best practices.
