Are you energized by fast-paced recruiting and passionate about connecting people with unforgettable experiences in America's National Parks? Xanterra Travel Collection(r) is seeking a Seasonal Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team at our Greenwood Village, CO headquarters.
In this high-volume recruiting role, you'll conduct 6-8 phone interviews daily (each approximately 45 minutes) with seasonal job applicants. You'll help generate excitement about the opportunity to live, work, and explore in iconic destinations like Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, and more. We anticipate this role will help support The Oasis at Death Valley location but you could be asked to help support other locations based on business volume.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all domestic recruiting efforts and candidate selection for front-line hourly positions and other positions as assigned. Post requisitions, screen candidates, conduct and oversee interviews, extend job offers and declines. Ensure adequate job offers are issued to meet hiring needs.
* Maintain thorough knowledge of the locations, job responsibilities related to each of your requisitions, and lifestyle and benefits of park life at supported location(s).
* Ensure a professional, legally compliant and consistent selection and onboarding experience for applicants. Consistently apply established criteria in the candidate evaluation process.
* Oversee data related to employment application requests, applications, background/reference checks, and personnel file data.
* Handle confidential and/or sensitive information related to seasonal employment. Keep all information viewed as confidential.
* Comply with Recruiter Service Level Agreements, and ensure data integrity of our applicant tracking system, iCIMS. Provide reporting as requested.
* Maintain extensive contact with incoming employees; offer accurate directions and information regarding the Park, the Company and job specifics.
* Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
* Work closely with Talent Coordinator to ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
* Other duties as assigned by the Talent Supervisor.
Qualifications:
* Prior recruiting experience not required but preferred
* Professional communication skills - related to telephone etiquette and written correspondence.
* Strong Interpersonal Communication skills. Especially in regards to dealing with potential team members, current team members, and coworkers tactfully & professionally.
* Ability to work independently and as a member of the Talent and larger Human Resources team.
* In-depth knowledge or ability to communicate park-specific information including, but not limited to: housing facilities and company/departmental procedures.
* Knowledge or ability to learn Applicant Tracking systems. Prior experience with iCMS specific products preferred.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality with employee information.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is $20/hour.
