Responsibilities:
The Sales Specialist - AWS is responsible for driving growth of SoftwareOne's AWS reseller business by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. The role focuses on Large Enterprises, SMBs, ISVs, Startups, and Greenfield customers, selling AWS licenses, services, and cloud transformation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Acquire and grow customers on AWS
Advise customers on cloud adoption, optimization, and value creation
Sell AWS licenses, services, and solutions
Build strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders
Collaborate with internal teams and AWS on co‑selling and GTM initiatives
Drive AWS programs and targeted marketing activities
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of AWS business and cloud value propositions
Experience working within the AWS partner or reseller ecosystem
Ability to translate customer needs into practical AWS solutions
Hands‑on experience creating AWS pricing and cost models
Strong relationship‑building and consultative selling skills
Confidence engaging with senior decision‑makers
Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams
Familiarity with AWS programs such as MAP, OLA, WAR, LYFT, or CEI
