				Overview:

The Sales Director - Manufacturing is responsible for the overall implementation of the sales strategies and results for a key segment of the business. They plan and direct all sales activities including strategic planning, managing forecasts, pipeline development, as well as staffing and talent development of the sales force. The Director promotes a team culture that embraces company values, collaborates across organizations, and engages appropriate internal resources. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales and will work with Marketing, Business Development, Autodesk Partner Management, Service / Technical Team Members, and Customer Success.

Responsibilities:

* Lead team to focus on exceeding assigned quotas - generating incremental new business and maintaining and maximizing existing revenue stream/renewals
* Assess Business Requirements, develop strategies, define Vision and Goals, adapt and manage change
* Holds team members accountable for their contribution to weighted pipeline through regular pipeline management routines
* Accountable for high-quality forecast by striving to match quarterly budget and within defined margins of error
* Work with partner managers to identify gaps in business coverage and enablement, directs team on activities to address them
* Manage team's effort toward net AOV (Annual Order Value) growth across the full portfolio of accounts
* Facilitate regular coaching conversations about professional growth and career development with each direct report
* Guide direct reports to uncover short and long-term performance goals, with actionable plans to achieve them
* Build healthy business relations with major customers, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction
* Lead the activities of sales team, including hiring, developing talent, team culture and performance management
* Manage execution of strategic sales and marketing programs, including product launches, trade shows, channel development events, and customer forums
* Will require collaboration with others in the extended team not reporting to this role
* Create a compelling value proposition in our A/E segment and coaching the team to focus on customer outcomes by selling solutions with clear Return on Investment
* Assist in developing sales and marketing plans related to industry solutions
* Providing insight to internal organizations on market direction, customer needs, product requirements and business opportunities
* Ensure CRM tools and methodologies are used to process and track opportunities
* Competition Analysis by keeping informed about Market Trends & achieving market share metrics
* Enable the team through knowledge sharing on Domain, Technology and Customer Centric solutions
* Encourage innovation by exchanging new ideas to improve operation and efficiency within sales and the supporting organization

Responsibilities:

* Sales Management experience (5+ years)
* Consistent record (8+ years) of quota attainment with on premise, SaaS or a hybrid model
* Experience managing or selling Enterprise Technology Software sales experience (Architecture, Engineering, Construction or Manufacturing industries experience is beneficial)
* Strong team selling and leadership skills
* Unparalleled communication skills - you quickly establish rapport with people and establish value
* Knowledge of the AEC Industry
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
