As Application Chemist, this role will combine excellent scientific skills with strong commercial business acumen, and the desire to contribute to the customers' success by helping them choose the best system solution from Waters product portfolio to address the customers' analytical challenges. The Applications Chemist will do sample analysis across multiple types of applications (not limited to), Food & Environment, Chemical Materials, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences with a focus on LC, Mass Spectrometry instrumentation.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and optimize analytical methods using LC, LC/MS/MS and HRMS for pharmaceutical applications.
* Provide hands-on training and technical support to customers on Waters' analytical platforms.
* Deliver application-focused solutions to customers, ensuring they maximize the value of Waters' products.
* Support the sales team by demonstrating Waters' technology in real-world applications and assisting in pre-sales discussions,
Qualifications:
Education:
* Masters Degree in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry.
* Bachelor's degree with experience equivalent to Master's degree.
Experience:
* 1-2 years user experience with UPLC, Mass Spec and analytical instruments
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* Experience with HRMS is preferred.
* Prior experience in GMP environments is preferred.
Lauguage:
* Native proficiency in Korean and good command of written and spoken English.
