Responsibilities:

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape the safety culture for a large, complex operation spanning a distillery, bottling hall, and distribution centers in Bardstown, KY. You'll have the opportunity to influence how 600 team members work safely every day, while building programs that truly make a difference. If you enjoy being hands-on, driving change, and developing a strong team, this role offers both visibility and long-term growth within a fast-moving environment. 

* What You'll Do:

* Lead and continuously improve safety and environmental programs across multiple sites, ensuring a safe, compliant, and proactive workplace
* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive actions that prevent repeat issues and reduce overall risk
* Build and deliver training programs that engage employees and strengthen a culture of safety ownership at every level
* Partner with leadership to manage compliance, reporting, and emergency response planning while maintaining strong relationships with regulatory agencies
* Develop and coach a small team while overseeing workers' compensation, contractor safety, and key safety-related projects

Qualifications:

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) or a related field
* 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
* Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations with hands-on compliance experience
* Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization

Preferred:

* 10+ years of EHS experience, including leadership or team management responsibility
* Safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) and experience leading site-wide safety programs
* Background in the spirits, food & beverage, or other regulated manufacturing industries
