The company operates a state-of-the-art facility on ten acres in Lewiston, Maine. With the capacity of six bottling lines the company looks forward to continuing a track record of success.
Responsibilities:
Join 1820 Spirits as a Safety Coordinator and play a key role in building a workplace where safety and culture go hand in hand. You'll lead efforts to create a zero-injury environment by developing practical safety programs, driving training, and ensuring compliance across our facilities. This role offers the chance to make a visible impact in a growing company by shaping both safety practices and team engagement.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 11 am- 8pm
What You'll Do
* Develop and implement safety programs, training, and policies that meet or exceed regulatory requirements
* Identify hazards, lead incident investigations, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence
* Partner with managers and team members to strengthen safety culture and engagement
* Support compliance efforts, including TTB regulations and environmental standards
* Oversee safety metrics, reduce workplace incidents, and manage related claims and recovery processes
Qualifications:
Required:
* Bachelor's degree
* Minimum 2 years of relevant safety or compliance experience
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field
