Responsibilities:
Provide technical and engineering support to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Radio Communications-Integrated Product Team (RC-IPT) in support of the Amphibious Tactical Communications System (ATCS) In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA).
Work Model: Onsite/In-office
Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Perform System Operational Verification Testing (SOVT) for ATCS installations onboard US Navy ships.
* Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) of basic operation and maintenance to ships technicians during SOVT.
* Respond promptly to service calls, addressing technical problems with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Provide Daily Situation Reports (DSRs) of actions taken and results.
* Update documentation and perform in-briefs and out-briefs of accomplishments to the ship's crew and other fleet support customers.
* Maintain equipment in the ATSC lab by ensuring equipment is operational and up to date to maintain proper a Cyber Security posture.
* Perform Pre-Installation Test and Checkout (PITCO) of new ATCS systems received in the lab.
* Configure, and maintain labs ATCS equipment. Run diagnostics and conduct testing of both RF and IT equipment, documenting performance and issues.
* Review and answer Software Trouble Reports (STR) / Hardware Trouble Reports (HTR) for any issues found onboard during site support activities. Document resolutions for STR and HTR issues against any associated trouble tickets.
* Troubleshoot ATCS system issues, identify problems, and perform necessary repairs or adjustments to optimize performance.
