Responsibilities:

SUMMARY

The Asian Specialty Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Asian cuisine, ensuring consistency, presentation, and adherence to food safety standards. This role maintains kitchen operations, supports culinary staff, and delivers excellent guest dining experiences.

* Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes according to recipes and quality standards

* Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and plating of all menu items

* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of workstations and kitchen equipment

* Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to management

* Follow food safety, hygiene, and regulatory guidelines at all times

* Collaborate with culinary team to maintain consistent menu quality

* Assist with training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff

* Participate in menu development, recipe testing, and daily specials as needed

* Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and standards of excellence

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 21 years of age

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Experience as a cook specializing in Asian cuisine preferred

* Knowledge of traditional cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles

* Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
