Responsibilities:

As our Central Services Technician, you will be a vital link in patient care, ensuring the highest quality, sterile instrumentation is always available to medical teams.

Every day, you will meticulously process and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, assembling trays, conducting quality checks, and maintaining inventory. You'll provide excellent service to patients, physicians, and staff, ensuring tools are safe and ready for procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a rigorous commitment to sterilization protocols, working efficiently and expertly to support optimal outcomes.

* Prepares and delivers case carts. Utilizes aseptic technique when handling and distributing sterile instruments and supplies.
* Decontaminates surgical instruments, power equipment, flexible endoscopes and other medical devices.
* Ability to assemble, package and label, clinics surgical services and all other hospital instrumentation for various methods of sterilization.
* Answers telephone, fills orders, issues and stocks supplies
* Utilizes various methods of high/low temp sterilization and disinfection processes.
* Maintains quality control records for all sterilizers.

Qualifications:

Required:

* High School Graduate HS/GED upon hire 

Preferred:

* Prefer completion of a surgical instrument technician program or 2 years surgical instrument experience
