Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a former background in Sales Operations to join our SoftwareOne Academy Returnship (SOAR) Program. This paid 12-week program is designed to provide support and integrate versatile professionals who have taken a career break and want to get back into the workforce. As a SOAR participant, you will have the opportunity to refresh and enhance your skills while working on meaningful projects at SoftwareOne.

Location is open and could be a remote or hybrid role.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Operations Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing and optimizing our customer discount groups (CDGs). The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and reorganizing over CDGs. This includes database management, identifying name changes, and determining customer activity status. The role requires strong critical thinking abilities and administrative skills, with a background in sales operations and business intelligence (BI) being highly desirable.

Role & Responsibilities

* Manage CDG and account validation.
* Consolidate and manage CDG clean-up tasks.
* Maintain and manage account lists.
* Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Analyze and reorganize customer discount groups (CDGs) to ensure accurate segmentation.
* Utilize critical thinking skills to identify patterns and make data-driven decisions.
* Perform administrative tasks related to account management and customer segmentation.
* Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of the segmentation project.

What you offer

* Career break required: you must have taken an intentional career break of at least 1+ years (e.g., for family commitments, personal reasons, sabbatical, etc.) and are now looking to return to the workforce.
* 1-2 years supporting a sales organization
* Highly organized and adaptable to change
* Strong critical thinking abilities and administrative skills
* Background in sales operations and business intelligence (BI) being highly desirable.

Target compensation for this role will be $20-25 per hour. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range and will be decided based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) candidates' qualifications, experience, education, and work location.
