Office Location: Lakewood     Coverage area: Denver, Lakewood, Westminster, Wheatridge, Golden, Brighton, Broomfield, Thornton, Arvada     

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM

Responsibilities:

As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, You will: 

* Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services 
* Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices 
* Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability 
* Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions 
* Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy 

Qualifications:

* Minimum of Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
* A minimum of one (1) year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
* Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
* Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
