Responsibilities:
* Repair, maintain and monitor all electronic gaming devices and equipment
* Execute slot projects
* Provide amazing guest service
* Maintain a positive and outgoing attitude at all times
* Provide amazing guest service
* Move, convert, clean and maintain machines on casino floor
* Troubleshoot and repair machines on casino floor
* Responsible for repair of Slot peripheral systems
* Provide hands-on training to other slot personnel on all gaming devices and related tracking systems
* Repair and rebuild all mechanical and electronic slot game components
* Advise and assist Slot Tech Trainees
* Maintain current knowledge of casino related equipment, support equipment, new games, systems and modifications to existing equipment
* Required to assist Slot Operations in their daily operations on the casino floor
* Other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Must have complete knowledge of gaming devices and related systems
* Must have the working knowledge to make machine changes, updates, modifications and know the games and progressive systems well enough to prevent any excessive down times
* Must remain educated in all aspects of slot repair related equipment
* Ability to understand and comply with all departmental and casino regulations, policies and procedures and work effectively with management and guests. An ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English
* Minimum two (2) years slot technical experience required. Or, completion of six (6) months of paid work time as a Slot Tech Trainee IV
* Extensive electronics knowledge and experience in electronics troubleshooting and training and or certification as mandated by Greektown Casino, plus successful completion of an evaluation by Greektown Casino
* A high school diploma is required
* Two year certificate in electronics, computer science, or related technical field required
