				Responsibilities:

The SKU Sample and Standards Specialist is responsible for managing the Product Reference Sample Library, Image Library, packaging specification approval processes, and maintaining Packaging Specifications. This role provides essential support to Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Track and order new product samples through the Item Status Change KPI and coordinate with plant managers.

* Review new reference product samples for compliance with specifications and identify any defects, providing feedback to production teams.

* Display new reference product samples in the SKU Room while discarding obsolete bottles.

* Collaborate with the KPI development team to streamline ordering processes and ensure KPI information is accurate.

* Accurately model current SKU Room shelf contents using Space Planning Software.

* Photograph, edit, and upload images of new product samples to the intranet Image Library.

* Support the Procurement Team with supplier approval process records management, NBD project management, finished goods specification management, and the MRP process.

* Support Intellipac operations by maintaining records, pulling reports, and assisting the Marketing Team within the system.

* Collaborate with IT to maintain the functional product image library upload process and develop an image library for containers in the SKU Room.

* Support Sales by ensuring price structures are accurately entered into the EAPS system.

* Maintain and publish the weekly distributor inventory report.

* Provide backup support to pricing and invoicing functions.

Continuous Improvement and Professional Development
* Implement a PDS (Personal Development System) plan to improve at least one competency per year and track progress against role outcomes, documenting progress and roadblocks within the PDS system.

* Develop a career plan aligned with overall career objectives and clearly communicate with management to facilitate succession planning and future growth opportunities.

Quality and Compliance
* Develop and maintain a refund process to audit every SKU for refund information, phone numbers, and brand website details to ensure state compliance.

* Report weekly on compliance corrections, reenter corrections into the specification approval process, ensure corrective actions are approved, and document these changes.

* Integrate updated processes into NBD for Procurement.

* Develop metrics through weekly reports to quantify library imaging, track specification approvals, and ensure record integrity.

* Confirm that every active SKU code translates correctly across systems (Intellipac, ERP, etc.) and document completeness of approvals, taking corrective action where needed.

* Maintain structural databases for new and revised specifications, ensuring compliance with U.S. government requirements and internal standards (such as customer service contact information) across all SKUs.

* Coordinate with design, procurement, marketing, production, and compliance teams for new, existing, and modified SKUs.

* Route international SKUs to the Compliance Coordinator to meet global compliance requirements.

Qualifications:
Must Have:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent

* Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently

* Strong computer skills with a high level of comfort using technology and systems

* Strong analytical and technical skills

* Strong planning and organizational skills

Preferred:

* Experience in the alcohol beverage industry or broader consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector

* Bachelor's degree in Business or commensurate experience

* Experience with System 21 ERP software
