Health and Safety is of paramount importance to all Mammoet operations, as is ensuring optimum performance and the protection of our environment. Hence, our SHE-Q professionals play a mission-critical role in maintaining the highest possible standards for our colleagues, contractors, and customers around the world.
As a SHEQ Advisor you will form part of the team of safety advisors servicing the business needs across varied scopes of work and locations across all company operations. We recognise that varied work scopes and an adaptable working structure promotes personal and professional development.
Responsibilities:
* Promotion of a positive SHE-Q culture at all times.
* Ensuring compliance with all Mammoet and contractual SHE-Q standards, as well as applicable legal requirement.
* Maintaining industry-leading SHE-Q standards in our facilities and all work locations.
* Liaising effectively with a range of different people and role types across various scopes of work, both internally and externally.
* Coaching and promoting our strong SHEQ culture.
* Assessing the safety of jobsite and workplace activities.
* Conducting and overseeing safety inspections and training.
Qualifications:
* University degree in an associate field
* Diploma / certification in Health, Safety & Environment and Quality.
* Expert knowledge of SHE-Q regulations
* Strong understanding of heavy lifting and transport (HLT) equipment
* Minimum 6 years of relevant field experience
* Proficient in SHE-Q systems and MS Office Suite
* Fluent English (verbal and written)
