Responsibilities:

The Senior Director of Contracts leads a geographically dispersed contracts team. This position will manage contract operations for both the Technical Services and Education business areas.

Work Model: Hybrid

Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Serve as the senior contractual advisor to business line leaders, developing and implementing contract strategies that align with company growth objectives.
* Lead complex negotiations for prime contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR, CAS, agency specific regulations, and federal, state, and local laws.
* Participate in proposal activities, including the stage-gate process, color team reviews, and cost/price development, providing recommendations that protect company interests. 
* Identify and mitigate contractual risks and develop risk management strategies to ensure adherence to company policy, as well as pertinent laws and regulations.
* Engage with senior acquisition official, contracting officers and industry leaders.
* Lead and develop a high-performing contracts team, providing coaching, training and development opportunities as well as conducting personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and terminations.
