Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:
* -Schedule and maintain all Security activities. Make assignments at the beginning of each shift. -Inspect all officers on shift for appearance (uniform and grooming) and equipment and correct deficiencies when observed. -Will observe, supervise and instruct shift officers in the performance of their duties when needed. -Will brief relieving Supervisor on all incidents during the shift. -Supervise and conduct on-the-job training for all new officers assigned to the shift. -Maintain follow-up to ensure adherence to schedules and work standards. -Ensures proper shift coverage when officers call in by contacting off duty officers to cover when needed. -Will perform as Incident Commander under the Emergency Response. -Plan until relieved by higher authority. -Must always present self in a professional manner. -Must provide friendly and courteous service to all guests, staff and co-workers. -Supervises, plans and schedules security activities for the Security Department as directed by management. -Reviews, completes or conducts follow-up investigations on all incident reports as directed. -Responsible for development of assigned subordinate officers through effective coaching and evaluations. -Will maintain a thorough understanding of Company Policies, Department Standard Operating Procedures, Gaming Regulations as they apply to the property and Nevada Revised Statues as they apply to crimes against persons and property. -Performs related work as requested.
Qualifications:
-To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. -The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. -Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.-Must be at least 21 years of age. -High School Diploma or equivalent required. -Must have a valid Driver's license. -Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook). -Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. -Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. -Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. -Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. -Must display effective communication skills for guest service, incident command and hostile or impaired persons. -Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
