Responsibilities:

Provide effective and efficient communication between Center Director and Center employees as well as relieve Center Director of administrative and clerical duties, in compliance with government, corporate, and management directives.

Pay: $25.36/hour plus an additional $4.93/hour (up to maximum of 40 hours per week) used to offset the cost of elected benefits.

Retirement Plan: Eligible to participate in the company 401(k) with Company matching after 1 year.

Vacation: Minimum of ten days per year. Actual days are based upon your Service Date.

Sick Time: Accrued sick time at 1 hour per 30 hours worked, capped at 56 hours per year

Holidays: 12 paid holidays per year.

Work Model: Onsite 

Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Prepare correspondence as required by the Center Director, and Human Resource Manager.
* Serve as an information resource for staff, students, and visitors.
* Regularly facilitate compliance with reporting requirements through maintenance of report suspense system and report preparation.
* Review and distribute correspondence, as needed/requested to include general correspondence, directives, information and instruction notices, program change notices, policy changes, and information bulletins.
* Maintain Center information library. Manage and maintain effective filing system of Center correspondence, to include hard copy and electronic media.
* Ensure correct completion of paperwork for new employees and for other personnel actions. Enter information in electronic personnel data system and file originals. 
* Maintain a functional and comprehensive filing system for the Human Resources department.
* Ensure that an adequate supply of all personnel forms and other printed material is maintained.
* Advertise open positions.
* Administer group insurance and retirement programs.
* Process paperwork for terminating employees; ensure that all new hire information and other personnel changes are transmitted to the corporate office in a timely manner.
* Support other Center areas as needed and appropriate, to include participation in Center review boards, training day coverage, advancement of technologies, and participation in student activities, graduation, and committees.
* Prepare reports (i.e. monthly center operations, quarterly Affirmative Action, significant incident control log) 
* Promote student attainment of career success standards through modeling appropriate skills, mentoring students, monitoring, skills acquisition and intervening when inappropriate behavior is observed.
* Adhere to safety practices.
* Order and maintain supplies for Center Director and Human Resource Manager.
* Compose and distribute minutes from Center management meetings.
* Cultivate and maintain a climate on Center, which is free of harassment, intimidation, and disrespect to provide a safe place for staff and students to work and learn.
* Perform all other duties as requested by management.
