				Overview:

The Room Service Call Center Rep obtains orders from patients and families via telephone in an efficient and timely manner; making sure accuracy and diet compliances are followed, conducts report processing as directed.

Responsibilities:

* Obtains meal orders from patients and families via the telephone and faxed requests.
* Enters meal orders into the system established for menu processing.
* Verifies meal orders meet diet order parameters.
* Process credit card charges following confidential and privacy guidelines.
* Coordinates call center processes with production and tray assembly areas.
* Acts as a liaison between Nutrition Services, the patient, family and nursing units.
* Demonstrates computer literacy.
* Creates service culture.
* Presents a professional appearance in the uniform prescribed by the department at all times.

Qualifications:

Education Requirement: High School Graduate or equivalent 

Skills:

* Ability to use computer efficiently
* Ability to communicate to others in a clear concise manner
* Ability to use headset on phone, while placing order in computer
* Customer service skills.
* Knowledge of credit card processing.

Experience: 3 months food service experience
