Overview:
The Guest Room Attendants ensure a home away from home experience in guest room accommodations. While coompleting all assignments in accordance with Omni Hotels Standards.
Responsibilities:
* Complete an average of 16 credits / assigned guest rooms daily.
* Keep assigned carts and closets well organized.
* Comply with safety training protocols to include, Active Shooter, Blood Borne Pathogen contact and disposal, OSHA, & Human Traficking .
* Document time in and out of each room.
* Ensure timely status updates to each assigned room.
* Clean rooms to Omni standard ensuring each room is complete and ready for a guest to occupy.
* Assist as needed in other Housekeeping functions as requested by supervisor.
* Reports all discrepancies in room status to supervisor or Dispatcher.
* Maintain secured entries to guest rooms and elevator landings.
* Follow Lost and Found Procedures. Report all items left behind by guests to Housekeeping leaders. Leave these items in the room for pickup by a leader. Never remove an item that is left behind in a guest room unless told to do so by management. Ensure all other Lost and Found procedures are followed.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
* Previous hotel Guest Room Attendant experience. Nursing facility or hospital Housekeeping experience may be considered
* Able to complete Housekeeping requirements for upto 16 rooms on an assigned shift
* Ability to stand an entire shift
* Ability to lift, push & / or pull 50LBS
* Ability to follow all emergency & safety protocols
* Ability to communicate with guests in English.
* Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
