Qualifications:

RS&H is seeking a Roadway Engineering Associate II to join our Transportation Practice in our Charleston, SC office!

As a Roadway Engineering Associate II, you will:

* Collaborate with engineers on transportation projects that improve infrastructure in South Carolina and across regional and national markets.
* Assist in the development of construction plans, right-of-way plans, and bid documents for projects spanning local, regional, and broader scopes.
* Visit construction sites to ensure successful project execution and adherence to design standards in multiple regions.
* Perform design calculations, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates while working alongside a team that shares work across offices in the Carolinas and other regions.
* Engage in workshare initiatives across state lines, giving you exposure to diverse challenges and allowing you to grow your skills on a broader scale.

Required Qualifications:

* Minimum B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
* 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on transportation or related fields.
* Familiarity with highway geometric design, traffic engineering, cost estimating, and civil materials.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, Geopak, OpenRoads, ArcGIS, HCS, SYNCHRO, and Primavera software.
* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is strongly preferred.
