Overview: Shift: Part Time; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM The nurse assists physician/provider by processing patients and preparing patients for physician/provider interaction. The nurse is responsible for the medication delivery, scheduling tests, answering telephone inquiries, providing patient education and performing other duties as requested by physician/provider. The nurse participates in the multidisciplinary care model. The nurse acts as a communication liaison between patients and physicians/providers. Responsibilities: * Prepare patient and assist provider with examinations, treatment and minor surgical procedures. * Assists in the delivery of services and patient care. * Responsible for obtaining medical histories, preparation and administration of injections, collection and preparation of specimens and performing office laboratory procedures. * Schedule referral appointments and distribute patient educational information as directed by provider. * Participate in multidisciplinary care model. Qualifications: Education: * Diploma from an RN program. License(s)/Certification(s): * Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. * Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. * Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * Must possess and maintain ACLS *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
