Overview: Cardiac Stepdown - Rock Island, IL RN Inpatient FTE - Full-Time (0.9 FTE) Shifts: Nights 7:15 PM - 7:15 AM * $10,000.00 New Hire Sign-on Bonus avilable for full-time (0.8 FTE or higher) offer! * * Shift & Weekend Differential! * What sets our Quad Cities/Muscatine Market apart? It's our NEW "Commit to Sit" Program- As an RN Inpatient, participate in the "Commit to Sit" initaitve by spending 5 minutes daily with each patient to foster personal connections and enhanse compassionate, holistic care. Responsibilities: * Assesses the needs of patients and families, providing appropriate teaching and making the necessary referrals to provide continuity of care. * Develops an individual plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and health care team. * Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of patient's care. * Assess and chooses teaching strategies appropriate to the patient's and their families' age specific needs, culture, gender, readiness to learn and level of comprehension. * Continues professional development and involvement in professional activities that enhance nursing practice by sharing knowledge through networking and research. Qualifications: Requirements: * Diploma from an RN program. * Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. * Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * Work may occasionally require travel to other UPH facilities. #RNpositionsQC *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
