Overview: Days; 6:45am-7:15pm ** $10,000.00 New Hire Sign-On Bonus! (for a 0.8FTE or higher)** **Float differential $5/hr + Shift Differentials ranging from $5-$7.50/hr!** Join the Clinical Resource Team and experience the variety and flexibility of caring for patients across multiple inpatient settings! As a key member of the interdisciplinary care team, you will apply your professional nursing knowledge and clinical skills to deliver and manage high-quality, patient-centered care for patients and their families. This role supports all Medical-Surgical inpatient units across the three Quad City campuses, offering opportunities to broaden clinical expertise while collaborating with diverse care teams. Practice is guided by the ANA Code of Ethics, UnityPoint Health's Philosophy of Nursing, and the Professional Nurse Practice Model, fostering a supportive, collaborative environment focused on excellence in nursing care. It's our NEW "Commit to Sit" Program- As an RN Inpatient, participate in the "Commit to Sit" initiative by spending 5 minutes daily with each patient to foster personal connections and enhance compassionate, holistic care. Responsibilities: * Delivers high quality care utilizing the nursing process while demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills of the specialty required on assigned unit in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care. * Consults appropriate resources within the hospital to provide specialized education. * Demonstrates knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority by preventing errors, accidents and infections and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately. * Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of patient's care. * Continues professional development and involvement in professional activities that enhance nursing practice by sharing knowledge through networking and research. Qualifications: Requirements: * Diploma from an RN program. * Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. * Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * Work may occasionally require travel to other UPH facilities. #RNpositionsQC *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
