As our Retail Pharmacy Technician, you'll play an essential role in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate pharmacy care to our patients. Working alongside licensed pharmacists, you'll help ensure prescriptions are processed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Every day you will support pharmacy operations by processing prescriptions, assisting with medication preparation, managing insurance claims, and providing exceptional service to patients. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure patients receive the medications they need safely and efficiently.

* Process new and refill prescriptions while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations.
* Assist pharmacists with preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing medications to promote safe and accurate patient care.
* Process insurance claims, resolve billing issues, and communicate with insurance providers to support timely prescription fulfillment.
* Provide outstanding customer service by assisting patients with prescription pick-up, answering general pharmacy questions, and operating the point-of-sale system.
* Maintain medication inventory, monitor expiration dates, and support quality assurance by helping identify potential medication or dispensing errors.

Qualifications:

* Registered/licensed Pharmacy Tech in the State of NE (https://dhhs.ne.gov/licensure/pages/pharmacy-technician.aspx) required prior to start date
* Active CPT-EXCPT or CPT-PTCB or CPHT certification in good standing is required after one year from the registration/licensure date
