***This position will be physically located in The Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP*** 

This position oversees and directs all functions related to Retail Stores & Resale Operations on the Kwajalein Task Order. Responsible for the smooth operation of the facilities, managing personnel, and monitors the requisition, acquisition, storage, and distribution of supplies and the maintenance of records. Responsible for processing transactions, maintaining a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area, and clean and stock merchandise; Responsible for ensuring sales receipts and payables are accurate; Ensures proper merchandise pricing and product mix; Ordering, stocking shelves, rotating stock, tracking expiration dates. Accountable For: Inventory Counts; Cash drawer audits and reconciliations; Ordering and maintaining products. #LI-TM1 

Responsibilities:

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

* Submit, recurring, Class 1 retail DeCA and FFV orders for retail sale stores and Class 1 DeCA and FFV purchase requisitions for the Reagan Test Site (RTS) mission support requirements.
* Oversees product receipt, storage, issuing, restocking, and dry and cold storage function
* Works with joint mission partners to ensure planning and ordering for special needs and events greater than 90 days out
* Inspects product for damage, spoilage, waste, and files proper reports with COR/ACO
* Trains and mentors Store Managers and staff
* Engages with customers and handles special requests
* Engages with customers and addresses complaints, elevating to senior management as necessary
* Conducts regular inventories to ensure stock levels and capture pilferage
* Works with vendors developing seasonal product rotation strategies ensuring selection remains 'fresh' while maintaining staples
* Develops and updates standard operating procedures ensuring efficient compliant operations
* Processes all paperwork in a timely manner ensuring accuracy in all reporting
* Analyzes sales and customer satisfaction data to develop strategies for improvement at all locations
* Develops and enforces Job Safety Analysis forms ensuring safe and trained workforce
* Attends meetings with the COR and ACO
* Takes decisive action to eliminate unsafe conditions
* Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Minimum Qualifications
* Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if the degree is required.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card for NIPR access
* Valid U.S. Driver's license

* Certifications:
* LSS Green Belt/Black belt preferred but not necessary

* Experience:
* Minimum of 6 years Management experience, at least 4 of which should have been in a retail grocery environment or military supply
* Familiarity with Military Supply system

* Skills:
* Knowledge of OSHA workplace safety requirements
* Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and storage requirements to meet compatibility of products based on hazard class is required.
* Leadership and management skills, including a professional demeanor, are required.
* Strong interpersonal skills are required.
* Ability to exercise discretion and good judgement is required.
* Ability to prioritized responsibilities to handle a demanding workload is required.
* Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required.
* Advance ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written form is required.
* High-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed and accurate is required.
* Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and ALL Microsoft applications is required.

* Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Responsible for managing P&L for retail sales and ensuring minimum waste levels

* Working Conditions:
* Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
* Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, tropical environment with average temperatures of 130 degrees in the summer months).
* Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
* The worker may be required to spend extended time in a computer room environment.

* Physical Requirements:
* Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
* Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
* Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
* Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
