Responsibilities:
Lead Therapist Position
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will join an established team of RTs who share your passion for delivering highly specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients experiencing breathing issues. You'll be instrumental in providing a range of treatments from breathing techniques and nebulizer treatments to ventilator management, oxygen therapies, and external ventilation support.
Every day you will apply your keen assessment skills and critical thinking to manage diverse patient needs, develop and execute effective care plans, and ensure calm, focused intervention in both routine and emergent situations.

* Can perform all the duties of a Registered Respiratory Therapist, schedule based on needs of the department and approved by the manager.
* It is preferred that the Lead performs airway management to include both emergent and elective intubations.
* Performs staff assignments per department process. Provides the assignment of all therapists as appropriate for their shift. The lead will take an assignment, as appropriate.
* The Lead can be a day shift staff member or a night shift staff member. When necessary or designated, the Lead will be assigned project work associated with developing the patient care in lieu of a traditional workload.
* Provides adjustments of the work schedule for the shifts to assure an equitable workload, with input from staff, in accordance with department workload and budgetary constraints. Will cover call-in or vacant shifts to maintain critical staffing levels as needed and approved by manager.
* Promotes overall positive team atmosphere.

* Associates Of Science Cardiopulmonary Services, upon hire or
* Associates Of Science Respiratory Care, upon hire
* Respiratory Care Practitioner: KY, upon hire and
* Registered Respiratory Therapist, upon hire and
* Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
