Shifts: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM + every other weekend & rotating holidays

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist Lead, you'll deliver advanced, compassionate respiratory care to patients across the lifespan-from the tiniest neonates to complex adult cases-in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities:

* Serves as the clinical expert as it pertains to field of respiratory care and associated information/reporting systems.  
* Provide respiratory care modalities, therapies and diagnostic testing; including oxygen therapies and medication delivery. 
* Provides education to the patient and their family. 
* Intubation (not required, but within the scope of practice). 
* Process and provide various equipment, necessary to carry out assigned duties including diagnostic and ventilator support of patients both invasive and non-invasive.  
* Pulmonary Function Testing equipment, including but not limited to; PF Screening equipment, Comprehensive Pulmonary Function Testing equipment,  Humidifiers, O2 therapy related equipment, aerosols, pulse oximetry, nebulizers, inhalers, and applicable medications, mechanical percussors, bedside pulmonary screeners, EKG's,  volume expansion therapy, emergency airway equipment, adult ventilation (noninvasive only), ABG procurement.

Qualifications:

Education: 

* Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program 

Experience: 

* Must have least 1 year of clinical experience.   

License(s)/Certification(s): 

* Illinois and Iowa Respiratory Care Licensure
* Registered Respiratory Therapy Therapist with NBRC 
* CPR upon hire 
* ACLS/NRP within 6 months of hire
