Responsibilities: Some of the most important conversations in a young person's life happen outside the classroom. That's where our Residential Advisors (RAs) come in. Many of our students are living away from home for the first time. Residential Advisors play a vital role in helping them develop the habits, confidence, and life skills they need to succeed - so they can focus on building their futures. We're looking for Substitute Residential Advisors to help mentor, supervise, and support students on our residential campus. This is an on-call, part-time opportunity designed to provide coverage for vacations, absences, and other operational needs within our residential program. This position provides flexible, on-call coverage and may include: * Day shifts: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM * Evening shifts: 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM * Overnight shifts: 11:00 PM - 8:30 AM * Weekends and holidays Schedules vary based on operational needs and staff coverage. Qualifications: Essential Duties & Job Functions: Residential Advisors help create a safe, structured, and supportive living environment for students ages 16-24 enrolled in the Job Corps program. In this role, you'll: * Supervise and mentor students in a residential dormitory setting * Promote positive behavior, accountability, and leadership * Lead dorm meetings, group activities, and student engagement event * Monitor student safety * Assist with recreational trips and student transportation * Conduct dorm inspections and support facility upkeep * Maintain documentation and student reports * Support student development through coaching and guidance * Help cultivate a respectful, safe campus environment free from harassment or intimidation This position provides flexible, on-call coverage and may include: * Day shifts: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM * Evening shifts: 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM * Overnight shifts: 11:00 PM - 8:30 AM * Weekends and holidays Schedules vary based on operational needs and staff coverage.
